Web Achievement (Comment Builder
Tab) is available for JK to Grade 8 teachers.
Username and Password
All teachers will continue to use the same
Web Achievement username and password that they used last year.
If you do not remember your username or password or have any difficulties
accessing Web Achievement, please contact the helpdesk at extension
2088.
Teachers who are new to Web Achievement
can contact the helpdesk (ext. 2088) with their employee number
to receive their username and password.
Logging into Web Achievement
When teachers log in to Web Achievement, they will receive the message
'Not able to detect working Report period'.
This message displays until the office finalizes the set-up in Core
Trillium. Teachers have access to their personal and/or groups comment
banks. Click on the Comment Builder Tab in order
to create, edit or delete comments. Teachers will not have
access to enter marks and/or comments into student report cards
until the school office finalizes the setup in Core Trillium.
Access to Comment Banks
Teachers have access to personal and/or group comment banks. The
group comment banks allow teachers to share comments with other
teachers in the same division (primary, junior, intermediate) at
their school. These groups are setup within Core Trillium. If you
are a new teacher or a teacher who
requires access to a specific group, contact the school secretary
to update the groups within Core Trillium.
Access to Student Report Cards
When the school office begins to create and finalize the set up
in Core Trillium, the Web Achievement application will need to be
temporarily shut down at your school. The principal will
communicate this shut down period to all staff. Teacher
Verification Forms will be given to all teachers utilizing web achievement
to ensure the accuracy of the configuration within Trillium. It
is very important that the setup is accurate. Please
pay close attention to the verification forms that are given to
you from the school secretary and ensure that they are accurate
before signing them. All forms must be returned by all teachers
at your school before the Web Achievement application can be opened
for anyone at your school.
Once the configuration is complete and signed verification forms
are received by the office, teachers will be advised by
the principal that they have access to all tabs in Web Achievement
and will be able to enter marks and comments for their students.
IMPORTANT:
It is imperative that teachers log in to the web achievement application
to ensure the accuracy of the set up. This must be done prior
to the November 20th ETFO PA Day that is dedicated to report cards
and assessment. All secretaries and support staff will be attending
the mandatory CUPE PD Day on the same day, therefore, will be unavailable
to make any modifications in core Trillium. If the set up in web
achievement is inaccurate on November 20th, the teacher will not
be able to record assessment.
Resources and Supports
A separate memo including Cafes, Resources and Supports for Web
Achievement will be forthcoming.
