The
following motions to amend the Local's Constitution and By-laws
were approved at the Annual General Meeting, May 6, 2010 at the
Royal Canadian Legion, Lansdowne St. W., Peterborough.
1. Proposed
amendment to Constitution, Article 9, Election Procedures
2. Proposed amendment to Bylaw II, Committee Terms of Reference

to amend the elections procedure as follows: |

2 - Nominations be amended as follows: |

No
further nominations for the positions outline in Article 9.3.1
will be accepted at the Local Annual General Meeting, except
under Articles 9.3.7 and 9.3.9 |

3 - Election Procedure be amended as follows: |

Not
withstanding the above, nominations duly moved and seconded
and with the consent of the nominee, shall be accepted at
the Annual General Meeting for any position on the executive
that is vacant after the nominations deadline as stated in
9.2.2 |

to amend Bylaw II - Committee Terms of Reference as follows: |

Committee Members

Should a committee member not attend three consecutive meetings
the Committee Chair may bring the name forward to the Executive
to consider replacing that member on the committee. |
